In a time when technology moves faster than ever, it’s fun to look back at this editorial project we did for Volvo Cars. It was the beginning of autonomous driving and self-parking cars, and a lot has happened since then. But then, as now, all new technology is really about people. That’s why we decided to change the conversation and put people first. In this editorial, we invited people from around the world to talk about autonomous driving and what it could mean for them and the world around them.
Volvo Cars & My Volvo Magazine
During my time a Stendahls I had the opportunity to work on many fun projects with Volvo Cars. We also made the paper magazine My Volvo Magazine for the international market. Our work was to make films for digital stories and Pr marketing.
My Volvo Magazine is a hybrid publication, serving both as a digital customer magazine and a subtle sales tool. Rather than pushing products, it seeks to inspire, connecting car ownership with engaging editorials and carefully curated offers. Designed primarily for tablets—especially the iPad—it delivers a rich, interactive experience, offering Volvo owners news, stories, films, photography, and detailed information about services and accessories. Distributed across approximately 13 markets worldwide, the magazine is thoughtfully translated to suit local audiences and preferences. Its award-winning design, which balances striking visuals with editorial depth, earned My Volvo Magazine a Silver at the Swedish Design Awards, reflecting its commitment to both inspiration and excellence.
