The 2022 Polestar Design Contest, themed "Performance," challenged designers to explore sustainable performance concepts for the future of mobility. The contest, judged by Polestar's design team, saw over 600 entries, with the winning designs being combined into a full-scale model called "Polestar Synergy". The winners were two exterior designers, Devashish Deshmukh and Swapnil Desai, and interior designer Yingxiang Li.Unlike many other design contests, the Contest features a one-on-one coaching from Senior Design Manager Juan Pablo Bernal, and other members of the Polestar Design team.
